Privacy policy

PLC Jobs.ca is a small job board for PLC, controls, and automation roles in Canada. This page explains, in plain language, what information the site does and does not collect.

What we do not collect

Job seekers do not need an account to use this site, and we do not ask visitors for personal information to browse or apply. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and no Google Analytics or advertising tracker is loaded on this site.

What is counted, anonymously

To understand whether the board is useful, we count page views and clicks on Apply buttons in total, per job posting — for example, "this posting has been viewed 12 times." These counters do not store your identity, IP address, browser details, or which postings you personally viewed or clicked.

When you contact us or post a job

If you email us — for example to request a job posting — we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we keep it for as long as needed to handle your request and run the board. Employer contact details for a posting are kept privately and are not published on the site.

Payments

Paid postings are paid through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own privacy policy covers how it handles payment information.

Links to employers

Apply links take you to the employer's own website or application system. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and anything you submit there goes to the employer under their policy, not ours.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which provides the technical infrastructure that serves these pages and may process standard technical information (such as request logs) to operate and secure the service.
