CenterLine (Windsor) Limited is recruiting a Controls Integration Specialist for its Controls Department in LaSalle, in the Windsor area, reporting to the Controls Integration Specialist Leader. CenterLine builds standard and custom resistance welding, spot welding, arc welding and metal working equipment, and this role integrates the PLC and robotic control systems on that machinery. The posting offers two related paths. On the PLC side, the specialist designs, develops and integrates PLC and HMI applications in Rockwell or Siemens software environments, brings in advanced devices such as vision systems, drives, nut runners and printers, and configures safety devices and safety PLC logic to industry standards. On the robot side, the work is commissioning and programming robots across brands — Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa and Nachi are named — setting up robotic processes such as spot welding, GMAW, material handling and dispensing, configuring safety parameters and safety I/O in the robot safety software, and configuring and troubleshooting communication protocols such as Ethernet and Profinet. Either way, the specialist collaborates with the build teams to remove integration roadblocks and keep projects on schedule, develops logic and process solutions for custom applications, and takes part in machine tryouts both before shipping and after installation at customer sites.
